The Salem Giving garden is made up of very generous souls who donate their time and work in the garden. They range from beginners who want to learn and to long time experienced ones. Every volunteer is welcome and appreciated. We always need help in the garden!

We provide the gardening tools but you might want to bring your own gloves and a hat for shade.
Bring some drinking water
Wear clothes that can get dirty
Be prepared to laugh and have a great time.
Our 2026 Work Days
Starting March 7th: Every 1st and 3rd Saturday from 8:30 am to whenever
Later on we plan on adding a Wednesday evening twice a month for those that want to volunteer but have jobs or family obligations.

After all our endeavors during the year, we are fortunate to donate to the Salem Roanoke Food Pantry and Presbyterian Community Center.
